IX-EVALUATION OF THE ACADEMIC AND SCIENTIFIC PERFORMANCE OF THE STUDENT
IX. 1 Students will be evaluated annually through their activity reports. The reports shall be delivered according to the schedule established by the CCP, disclosed by the office of the university registrar, and published on the program website.
IX. 2 The report shall contain a summary of the student’s research project, description of the activities carried out, and the fulfillment of the planned goals, planning, or re-planning of future activities. Also, the advisor assessment on the academic and scientific performance of the student shall be sent.
IX. 3 The student who fails the report shall deliver a new report within 30 (thirty) days, counted from the date of disclosure of the evaluation result by the program office.
IX. 4 In addition to the rules established by the USP Graduate Program, the student may be disconnected from the graduate program (Master’s, doctorate, and direct doctorate), if one of the following situations occurs:
a) failure of the annual activity report for two consecutive times;
b) failure to deliver the annual report within the deadline set out in the annual calendar, published by the graduate office and on the program website.
c) non-attendance in the training activities of the program, including the annual symposium, without due justification and with the approval of the CCP.
d) lack of ethics or misconduct, academic or scientific, attested, in writing, by the advisor, and approved by the CCP and CPG. In this case, the student might present his defense. 

 

Format for presenting the activity reports.

Capes, CNPq, or students without a scholarship must follow the template:
Use font size 12 and 1.5 line spacing 

1) Cover Sheet (1 page) with:
a) project title;
b) student name;
c) name of advisor and co-advisor;

  1. d) identification if you hold a scholarship and the funding agency;
    e) course (Master/PhD/ Direct PhD), and enrollment date.
    f) period covered by the scientific report 

 

2) summary of the project proposed (up to 1 page)

3) summary of the previous report, if applicable (up to 1 page)

4) summary of the current report (up to 1 page)

5) results and discussion (up to 10 pages)

6) conclusions (up to 1 page)

7) Activity Plan/Schedule for the next term, when appropriate (up to 2 pages).

8) attendance in scientific events
TEMPLATE:
“This work was presented [orally/ in panels] at the scientific event [event name] that took place from [start date] to [end date] at [location].”

9) list of publications in the period covered by the scientific report (including those accepted for publication, informing in each case this situation):

FAPESP fellows may submit a copy of the report sent to FAPESP for the period or may follow the above instructions (sections 1 to 6).
* In any case sections 7 to 9 are mandatory.
